1. Overview

MulVidya AI ("we", "us", "our") is an educational tool created and operated by Sachin Tarafder, based in West Bengal, India, and available at mulvidya.dpdns.org. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it's used, and the choices you have.

2. The MCQ → PPT tool and worksheet generators

The core tools — pasting MCQs to generate a PowerPoint, and the test-paper/worksheet generators — process everything client-side, in your browser. The questions, answers, and files you paste or import are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Closing the tab clears that data from memory.

3. Optional accounts & account-gated features

Some features — such as AI-assisted question generation, saved test series, the leaderboard, live classes, and premium test series — require creating a free account. If you register, we store the account details you provide (such as name and email) and activity tied to those specific features, so we can operate your account, show your saved content, and maintain the leaderboard where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Payments

Premium Test Series access is currently handled through manual UPI payment with admin verification. We do not store your card, bank, or UPI credentials — payment confirmation is reviewed manually against the reference details you submit. Do not send us financial account passwords or OTPs; we will never ask for them.

5. Analytics

MulVidya AI may record privacy-conscious first-party analytics to understand how the site is used and improve its tools. For visitors who have not signed in, this can include a random anonymous visitor identifier, session information, first landing page, referring page/hostname, campaign parameters when present, device/browser information, and location signals made available by the hosting network such as country or region. When an account is created or used, eligible pre-registration activity can be linked to that account so the administrator can understand the user journey.

We do not intentionally collect passwords, authentication tokens, keystrokes, private messages, or unnecessary sensitive information for analytics. Query-string values are not required for the page-visit history and are excluded where practical. Detected location is approximate and may be affected by VPNs, proxies, or mobile networks.

When you use a tool without being logged in, we may record basic details about what was generated: the tool used, the title and file name, the file size, the time, your country, and the random anonymous visitor identifier described above. The file itself and the questions, text or documents you paste or upload are not sent to us for this purpose. If you register later, this activity may be linked to your account. Records are kept for up to 12 months.

We may also use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics on applicable public pages. Those providers may process technical information under their own privacy policies.

6. Cookies & local storage

Beyond analytics cookies, MulVidya AI uses your browser's local storage for things like remembering your light/dark theme preference and, where relevant, keeping you signed in. This data stays on your device and is used to make the site work smoothly, not to track you across other websites.

7. Third-party services

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and analytics from Google Analytics. These providers may process limited technical data (such as IP address) as part of delivering those services, under their own privacy policies.

8. Children's use

MulVidya AI is built for teachers, tutors, and students to prepare classroom material. It does not knowingly collect personal information directly from young children; where students use account-gated features, we expect this to happen under a teacher's or guardian's supervision.

9. Your choices

• You can use the core MCQ→PPT and worksheet tools without creating an account or sharing any personal data.
• If you have an account, you can request that we update or delete your account data by contacting us.
• You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove locally-saved preferences.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
