Frequently asked questions

Is this really free?

Yes. Puter.js, Pollinations (FLUX) and AI Horde (Stable Diffusion, community-donated GPUs) need no signup or API key. Gemini is free to you too when it's turned on — MulVidya covers that call.

Can I pick the exact model myself?

Yes — use the "Model / provider" dropdown to force Puter.js, Pollinations, AI Horde, or Gemini specifically. Leave it on Auto to let the tool find whichever one is working right now.

Why does it sometimes take a while?

Pollinations, Puter.js and Gemini are usually near-instant. AI Horde is powered by volunteers' GPUs — this can take anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of minutes depending on how busy the network is.

Where are my prompts and images sent?

For Puter.js, Pollinations and AI Horde, your prompt goes straight from your browser to that provider — it never touches MulVidya's servers. For Gemini, it's relayed through MulVidya's Worker (since that's the only way to use a private API key safely). Recent generations shown in the gallery are saved only in your browser.

Can I use the images commercially?

That depends on each underlying model's license, which can change. Check the current terms of the provider (Pollinations, AI Horde, Puter.js, or Google's Gemini terms) before commercial use.
